I currently live in the San Diego area with my lovely wife and a couple of somewhat odd cats. I have been actively consulting since 1998, with primary focus on SVG Consulting since 2000. In May of 2004, I left the consulting world and joined up with Xamlon, with primary focus on XAML.

My current foci, both professional and personal, encompass the design and implementation of 2D vector graphics engines and user interface widgets/controls. The vector graphic engine work is both at the low-level rasterization layer and at the high-level graphics layer; SVG and XAML markup for example. My widget/control work varies from converting static illustrations into fully interactive and dynamic utilities to original widget/control implementation. I enjoy all aspects of widget/control implementation, from single widgets to entire GUI libraries/frameworks.
